Refund Policy

Custom and Personalized Orders:

Due to the nature of our custom, hand-poured candles, all sales are final. Please review your order carefully before completing your purchase.

Damaged or Defective Items:

If your order arrives damaged or if there is an error on our part, please contact us within 7 business days of receiving your order via our contact form. We will work with you to resolve the issue, whether that means a replacement or a refund.

Cancellations:

Once an order has been placed and is in the production process, it cannot be canceled. If you have any special requests or concerns, please contact us as soon as possible, and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Product Disclaimer

Handcrafted with Care:

Each PoeticWicks candle is hand-poured individually using high-quality ingredients. As a result, slight variations in color, scent, or design may occur, and these are considered part of the candle’s unique charm.

Usage and Safety:

Our candles are intended for decorative purposes only. Please follow all safety guidelines:

  • Always burn candles on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
  • Never leave a burning candle unattended.
  • Keep candles away from flammable materials and out of reach of children and pets.
  • Trim the wick to 1/4 inch before each use to avoid excessive flame or soot.

Not for Consumption:

PoeticWicks candles are not edible. Please keep them away from food, beverages, and other items that could be compromised by candle wax.

Burn Time Variations:

Candle shape is a large contributor to candle burn time. Depending on your custom design, your candle may burn more quickly than a typical cylindrical candle in a typical candle jar. This does not indicate a defect, but rather reflects the handcrafted nature of our bespoke products.

Terms of Use

Customer-Provided Images

If you provide PoeticWicks with any images, sketches, or design ideas ("Customer Content") to inspire or guide the creation of your candle, you hereby grant PoeticWicks a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual, and irrevocable license to:

  • Create 3D models, artistic representations, or derivative works based on your provided content.
  • Use, reproduce, display, modify, and adapt such models for commercial purposes.

Use and Sale of Designs

PoeticWicks reserves the right to use any 3D models, designs, or derivative works created from Customer Content for future commercial use. This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Selling candles or other products based on or incorporating these designs to other customers.
  • Displaying these designs in marketing, promotional materials, and digital or physical storefronts.

Ownership of Revenues

All revenues, profits, or other benefits arising from the use, reproduction, and sale of designs created from Customer Content are the sole property of PoeticWicks. Customers are not entitled to any compensation, royalties, or acknowledgment beyond the fulfillment of their original order.

Customer Representations

By submitting Customer Content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the right to provide such content.
  • Your submission does not infringe on any third party’s intellectual property rights.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless PoeticWicks against any claims arising from our use of your submitted content in accordance with these terms.

Changes to Terms

PoeticWicks reserves the right to modify these Terms of Use at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website, and continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of those changes.
